Hola, chicas! Y vuelvo con otra review de las bases de Etude House, en esta ocasión hablaré de la Glow On ‘’Shimmer Glam Base’’ el año pasado estuve reseñando la Hydra Base pueden verla aquí. Lo primero que me llama la atención es lo de “base” porque siempre pienso que es como un primer. Este producto se los vi a varias chicas en Instagram y yo no podía quedarme atrás por lo que tuve que probarla con la Hydra base nunca tuve problemas y esta tampoco me lo ha dado. Así que empecemos con la reseña.

Modo de uso /How to use

Después de terminar el cuidado básico de la piel y antes de aplicar el maquillaje, aplique una cantidad apropiada dando palmaditas, sin restregar para que se absorba mejor, también se puede utilizar al finalizar nuestro maquillaje, aplicando una capa ligera en las zonas que queremos que se vea más luminosa como en las mejillas y parte de la frente.

Embalaje / Packaging

El empaque es exactamente igual al de las otras dos bases de la línea, pero esta tiene una botella con brillo y detalles tipo Rose Gold para la bomba. La bomba en sí misma es fácilmente controlable, así que no hay que preocuparse de derramar producto.

El recipiente es de vidrio, algo pesado, Esta base brillante tiene una base blanca con reflejos rosados y dorados. Cuando lo aplicas por primera vez en la piel, parece que es súper intenso, pero se absorbe muy bien se reduce a casi nada y se obtiene un aspecto muy natural que resalta con iluminación.

The packaging is exactly the same as the other two bases in the line, but it has a shimmery bottle with Rose Gold details for the pump. The pump itself is easily controllable, so you don't have to worry about spilling product.


The container is glass, somewhat heavy, this shimmer base has a white base with pink and gold highlights. When you apply it for the first time on the skin, it seems to be super intense, but it's absorbed very well, it reduces to almost nothing and you get a very natural look that stands out with lighting.

Mi Opinión / My Experience

Yo no suelo maquillarme mucho pero al estar todo el día en la universidad no me apetece ir con bases muy cubrientes he por esta razón que elegí este producto. Como ya saben mi piel es grasa y encontrar productos que te den un acabado de brillo natural sin que se confunda con el sebo es muy difícil. Por eso, me decidí a probar este producto para lograr los efectos que quiero.

Con una capa, hay un acabado de brillo muy sutil pero cuando se mezcla con la base este brillo no se nota mucho solo se ve jugoso. Siento que ayuda a iluminar pero no encuentro que mi base permanezca más tiempo. Dicen que este primer hidrata la piel pero no noto que hidrate ya que en mi piel deja un toque seco. No tiene un olor fuerte.

Este producto no minimiza la apariencia de poros y tampoco controlar el sebo, a mí este producto no me causo reacción alérgica, uso este producto a diario, creo que dura un buen tiempo ya que se utiliza muy poco producto. Usar esta base, junto a un delineador de ojos y una tinta labial se ha vuelto mi rutina favorita.

Realmente recomiendo mucho este producto.

I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but being in college all day, I don't want to go with very covering bases. For this reason, I chose this product. As you know my skin is oily and it’s difficult find products that give you a natural shine without being confused with sebum. Therefore, I decided to try this product to achieve the effects I want.

With a layer, there is a very subtle gloss finish but when mixed with foundation this shine is not very noticeable it only looks juicy. I feel that it helps to highlight but I can't see that the foundation lasts for a long time. The brand say that this base hydrates the skin but I don't see that, in my skin it leaves a dry touch. It doesn't have a strong smell.

This product doesn't minimize the appearance of pores and doesn't control the sebum, to me this product didn't cause allergic reaction, I use this product daily, I think it lasts a long time because I only use a little of  the product. Using this base, with an eyeliner and a lipstick has become my favorite routine.

I really recommend this product a lot.
